When can I check in?

Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you are asked to vacate by 10:00 a.m.

How do I cancel my booking?

If your plans have changed, you can cancel your booking online.

All booking cancellations are processed in line with our booking terms & conditions (cancellation charges apply). Bookings made with a promotional code are non-refundable.

If you booked via a third-party such as Booking.com, we’re unable to cancel your booking. Please contact the third-party directly.

Can I add breakfast to my booking?

If you would like to add breakfast to your booking, you can do this at the time of placing your booking or on arrival at the hostel.

Can I add additional nights to my booking?

To add extra nights to your stay, please make a separate booking for the additional dates. We cannot guarantee the same room will be available. For any booking queries, feel free to call our team on 01629 592700.

Can I add additional rooms to my booking?

If you would like to add another room to your booking, please book it separately using the website.

Can I change a booking made via a third-party such as Booking.com?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to amend bookings made through any third parties. Please contact the third-party directly.

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
Cash, Bank Transfer.

Is there a minimum age to book or stay?

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult in private rooms.
16–17 year old can stay alone with parental consent.
No upper age limit as The Haworth Hotel welcomes all travellers!

What is it that makes a Hostel rather than a Hotel or B&B?

Hostels tend to offer cheaper accommodation, with simple rooms, often with bunk beds. Hostelling is all about spending time with like-minded people, there is generally greater focus on the communal spaces rather than in their rooms.

Can anyone stay or do you have to be a member of YHA?

Anyone can stay here! As we are part of YHA, we do offer a 10% discount to YHA members, you can also join YHA whilst you are here if you would like to.

Are you part of YHA?

Yes, we are part of the YHA franchise scheme, bookings made through the YHA website go to support the excellent work that they do.

 

Do you allow dogs?

Yes, we do, for individual and family stays we charge £5, with Exclusive Hire we charge £50 per dog, we do not charge for Assistance dogs.

Do you have free onsite parking?

Yes, we have a free spacious onsite car park.

How many rooms are there?

We have 18 rooms. You can see the bed plan at the bottom of page on the website which you can use to allocate according to your needs.

Can I check in earlier?

Yes, this may be possible, but you will need to call the hostel at (01535-642234) to confirm the early check in. You are welcome to park up at the hostel and take a walk around the village if you get here early and we will be ready to welcome you in at 4.00 p.m. if the early check is not possible.

Can I check in later?

If you are going to arrive later than 9.00 p.m., please let us know and we will either be around to let you in or if you are going to be very late, we may have to text you with the door code and meet you in the morning.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Most people bring their own towel, however if you forget yours, you can hire for only £3.00.

Are the beds made when we get there?

Yes, all the beds will be made and ready for you when you arrive.

 

Do we have to strip the beds?

Yes please, it is really helpful for us to know which beds have been used. We see it as a throwback to the times that YHA guests were expected to do a job before leaving, we do not ask anyone to clean the windows or to chop firewood! If you are unable to strip the bed for any reason, do not worry we will happily do it for you.

Is there a self catering kitchen?

Yes, the kitchen is equipped with two catering size sinks, with drainers, a microwave, two toasters, two fridges, two standard electric domestic cookers, with ovens hobs and grills, and a cordless kettle, big pots and pans. We will make sure that you have everything that you need when you get here.

What time is Breakfast?

Breakfast is at 8.30 a.m. every day, we take breakfast orders in the evening before and have everything ready for you at 8.30 a.m.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks.

What is there to do in Haworth?

Do you have a bike shed?

Yes, we have a large, secure bike shed. And we frequently have many cycling groups staying at the hostel. The cycling is amazing right from the hostel; there are plenty of routes available on the internet for you to pick from.

Are you open all year round?

Yes, we are open every day of the year including bank holidays.

 

Can I hire the whole place?

Absolutely, you can hire the whole building all year round, although Have a look at the Exclusive Hire tab on the website to see the availability and rates.
