  • Packed lunches (sandwiches, fruit, and snacks) for days out exploring.
  • Evening meals featuring dishes like sausage and mash, curry, or macaroni cheese, with vegetarian choices available.

Haworth Brontë Legacy

Haworth is internationally renowned as the home of the Brontë sisters Charlotte, Emily, and Anne who penned some of English literature’s most enduring works, including Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. The sisters lived in the Brontë Parsonage (now a museum) and drew inspiration from the wild, windswept moors surrounding the village. Visitors can follow in their footsteps by exploring the Brontë Waterfall, Brontë Bridge, and Top Withens, the ruined farmhouse said to have inspired Wuthering Heights. Haworth itself is a charming village with cobbled streets, quaint tea rooms, and independent bookshops, making it a perfect base for literary pilgrims and nature lovers.

A Sanctuary in the Countryside

With its spacious lounge, games room (featuring a pool table), and large garden, The Haworth Hostel is the perfect place to unwind. Whether you’re reading by the fireplace, enjoying a meal in the wood-panelled dining room, or stargazing by the fire pit, this hostel provides a true escape from everyday life.

For those seeking adventure, literary history, or simply peace in nature, The Haworth Hostel is a sanctuary where you can leave your troubles behind and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside.

A Haven for Cyclists and Walkers

The hostel is a cyclist’s paradise, with secure cycle storage and proximity to the Yorkshire Dales Cycleway. Walkers will find endless trails, including:

  • The Brontë Way, leading to Top Withens.
  • The Pennine Way and Bridleway, offering breath-taking moorland views.
